Sue Chick Denton is a seasoned singer-songwriter, choir director, music teacher, and community musician based in Canmore. She’s been performing since childhood and is deeply involved in fostering group music-making across all ages. She’s a musical force and will endeavour to transport you with her beautiful voice and evocative lyrics.

Popping down to the pub on a Friday evening to catch up with friends and neighbours is a time-honoured tradition - and we’re keeping it alive with Community Fridays.

Every Friday from November through April, we feature local singers, songwriters, and small acoustic bands from 5-7pm. The atmosphere is easygoing and unpretentious - music that blends naturally into the buzz of the taproom, adding warmth and a sense of connection. It’s the perfect way to unwind and welcome the weekend.

And because good times pair best with good beer, enjoy Happy Hour $6 pints from 4–7 pm every Community Friday. Cheers to that! 🍻
